Biography
Dr. Corina Caraccioli is an Assistant Professor in the School of Leadership & Human Resource Development. Previously, she was the Associate Dean of Online & City College at Loyola University New Orleans. Dr. Caraccioli has extensive experience in higher education advancing innovation as a leader focused on strategic planning and implementation of online programs and services supporting adult learners and ensuring institutional sustainability and growth, and as a facilitator of learning in diverse modalities. She has been an active member of the American Association for Adult and Continuing Education (AAACE), serving as its 2025 Conference Chair, and of UPCEA, the online and professional education association, serving as a Board Member and the Policy Committee Co-Chair.
Dr. Caraccioli’s research focuses on lifelong learning and adult development within educational and workplace settings; institutional programming and adult learner success in online education; education policy analysis; and more recently, the development and integration of artificial intelligence policies and programs in higher education: aligning academic initiatives with workforce development.
Dr. Caraccioli has presented her work at various national and international conferences and published in reputable peer-reviewed journals. She is co-author of The Adult Learner: The Definitive Classic in Adult Education and Human Resource Development (10th ed.) and co-editor of the casebook Andragogy in Practice: Case Studies on Innovation in Adult Learning.
