LSU honored longtime faculty and staff at the annual Faculty & Staff Recognition Jazz Brunch, celebrating employees with 25 to 60 years of service and decades of impact across the university.

The LSU ImmunoTech Group is advancing cancer and immunotherapy research while mentoring future scientists through hands-on training, collaboration, and innovation. Supported by major grants, the team is expanding LSU’s research impact and student opportunities across Louisiana.

LSU’s Graduate Student Leadership Initiative equips students with strengths-based leadership skills through coaching and workshops. Created by a cross-campus team, the program boosts confidence, belonging, and success—earning recognition for its impact.

LSU’s DeepFire research team is using AI to predict wildfires weeks in advance with 90% accuracy, giving fire managers time to act. The multidisciplinary effort showcases LSU’s leadership in research, teamwork, and solutions that protect communities and natural resources.

A cross-campus LSU team is removing barriers to opportunity through the Tailored Tiger Professional Clothing Closet, a free resource providing professional attire to students. Through collaboration and community support, the team is helping Tigers show up confident and career-ready.
